Welcome

IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE

Within these difficult and challenging circumstances brought by the COVID-19 pandemic the Organizing Committee has decided to organize the conference virtually through the internet so that we can all enjoy ICMMEN 2020.

For this online edition of the conference the special fee is 150 euro, while for the second paper is 100 euro. The deadline of payment is Friday 5 June.

Dear Colleagues,

We are honored to invite you to the 7th International Conference on Manufacturing and Materials Engineering, which will be held 2-3 July, 2020 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The International Conference on Manufacturing and Materials Engineering ICMMEN was established during the Hellenic Chairmanship of EUREKA 2001-2002, aiming in strengthening synergies between people involved in scientific research and those having to meet the rapidly increasing demands of industrial applications.

The venue that will host the conference is Mediterranean Palace Hotel, which is a 5 star hotel in Thessaloniki, in the city center, equipped with modern conveniences, next to a traditional district and with an astonishing view over the Thermaikos Gulf.

Thessaloniki is situated strategically in Macedonia, Northern Greece, and is easily accessible from all over the world. It is one of the most important trade and business centers in the Balkans with great history dating back to around 315 BC. Its nearby archaeological sites from the time of Alexander the Great and Roman and Byzantine times offer great opportunities for sightseeing before or after the congress.

We hope the 7th International Conference on Manufacturing and Materials Engineering conference will be a good opportunity to change information of mutual scientific interests and to develop new collaborations among participants.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, I am delighted to welcome all the participants to Thessaloniki for the 7th International Conference on Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Conference – ICMMEN 2020, and to enjoy staying in Thessaloniki!

Prof. Gabriel Mansour,
Conference Chair
Head of Laboratory of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Engineering
Department of Mechanical Engineering
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki
